The Kansas Attorney General’s office says that a body has been found a few miles outside of Great Bend. The news came late Tuesday afternoon and proved enough to play havoc on all the family members of Alicia Debolt,
who had been on a desperate search for their 14-year-old child. Alicia Debolt, the Kansas City teenage girl, has reportedly been missing since Saturday 21st August, 2010.
According to the Eyewitness News, the dead body found near area of search for 14-year-old girl in Great Bend, is not identifiable. However, an autopsy, to figure out the true identity of body, is planed to be conducted at the Sedgwick County Forensic Science Center in Wichita and as a matter of fact, positive identification is expected on Wednesday.
As per the details provided by her family, on Saturday night Alicia Debolt was picked up by a friend at her house on her way to a friend’s party. She wasn’t expected to be late, however if she was going to be late, she would always alert her mother. But, that night neither Alicia Debolt return home nor any update!
Alicia Debolt’s sister-in-law, Holly Debolt, said “if she is going to be latte, she’ll always inform her mother”.
Although police denied sharing any details with media, however, through various sources it has been confirmed that Alicia Debolt was last seen traveling in a black SUV vehicle with a 19-year-old boy. She was reportedly wearing a blue jean shorts, gray ‘Jayhawk’ sweatshirt with silver studs on the hood and her favorite white classic tennis shoes. Alicia Debolt had a pony tail with a pink ribbon as well.
