According to various reports, Andrew Koenig, an American character actor who became famous with his role of ‘Boner’ in the TV series ‘Growing Pains’ and was being offered multiple acting projects from different producers, went missing on the eve of 14th of February, 2010.
Andrew Koenig wrote a letter to his father on the 16th and then the family of Andrew Koenig started out a search for the widely-known actor that reportedly ended on the 28th of February, 2010 when Andrew Koenig was mysteriously found dead hanging from a tree!
Andrew Koenig’s dead body was found in a park in Vancouver and the case of his alleged murder was closed after the police officials reported that Andrew Koenig hanged himself and committed suicide.
A spokesperson to the Vancouver police department said that it was a Suicide because Andrew Koenig hung himself in a very deep part of the park and the location evidently recommended that the victim didn’t want to be found.
As per the comments distributed by his family, It was certainly a very tough time for all of his family especially the parents who wasn’t able to understand that why Andrew Koenig, the 41-year-old actor who was enjoying a great acting career just like his father who played the character of ‘Chekov’ in the original ‘Star-Trek’, committed such an abysmal act?
Andrew Koenig’s father held an emotional press conference to talk about his late son and to talk about the reason for which Andre Koenig took his own life.
According to his father, the reason for Andrew Koenig’s suicide was the fact that he was very depressed for a long time and his symptoms were getting greater day by day.
