Ariel Zev Emanuel, born on 29th March, 1961 in California and commonly known as Ari Emanuel, is an American talent agent and the current CEO of William Morris Endeavor Entertainment.
Ari Emanuel, who is also the founder of the Endeavor Talent Agency in Beverly Hills, California, is currently riding the fame wave for his un-expected decision making technique as a source close to WME revealed that the company will not provide agency facilities to Mel Gibson in future.
Back in year 2007, Ari Emanuel was reportedly having a bad time with star when some offensive abuses were thrown around on the Pacific Highway by the drunk Gibson as this act of offense affected both the repute of the company and Ari Emanuel’s relationship with the star.
To this, Ari Emanuel wrote for the Huffington Post “Alcoholism cannot excuse anti-Semitism and racism. People, whether in the entertainment community or in any other community, need to display that they understand how much is at stake in this by professionally refusing to work with Mel Gibson. There were times in history when standing up against racism and bigotry is more important than money.”
So, now with all these latest happenings, it seems like the bad days of Mel Gibson are not over yet as the troubled hunk of Hollywood has reportedly been dumped by his agency, WME. But as a matter of fact Gibson doesn’t seem much worried about it. He said that he didn’t need anybody to back his films or give him pats on his shoulder.
