67 years old well-known Las Vegas capitalist, Bob Stupak, planner of the Stratosphere Tower, proprietor of Vegas World, and gambler, passed away after battling leukemia in Las Vegas Friday.
Bob Stupak passed away on Friday at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas after combating Leukemia.
Stupak was renowned for constructing the Stratosphere Hotel and around 1,150-foot-tall Tower that still leads the north end of the Las Vegas band. Prior to the Stratosphere he had the Vegas World, which came into existence from his business enterprise called Bob Stupak’s World famed significant betting Museum and Casino. When he initially came to Vegas in the 1970′s he started with a caf.
Bob Stupak opened his eyes Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on April 6, 1942.
According to internet news once he was of officially permitted age he came to Vegas and started a ticket book project. After an irregular go at business in Australia he was asked to depart the country and finished back in Vegas in 1971 and put jointly sufficient money to buy 1.5 acres of land north of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.
After the betting museum blazed down he started Vegas World and at its peak in the 1980′s grosses a $100 million a year.
In 1979 he achieved an extremely publicized million dollar bet on Super Bowl XXII and then soon after that year he achieved the Deuce to Seven Lowball championship wristlet in the World Series of Poker.
In 1995 he was in a terrible motorcycle mishap, which broke almost every bone of his face. At that time he was constructing the Stratosphere which operational in 1996. It was an economical wrong step at the time costing $550 million to create which went into liquidation and was put up for sale.
Throughout his time in Las Vegas he was in steady hunt of political office but never achieved a spot in any political workplace.
For Bob Stupak, Las Vegas was a breaker coaster travel, but he leaves an inheritance on Las Vegas Boulevard, his dream, his Stratosphere, which is carrying on to this day to surprise visitors, now with roller coaster rides on its crest.
