House Familiarization

First of all let your dog be familiar with the new surroundings since, just like humans, if they were just new in a place, they would feel strange; they will not move or will not talk. They have the same reaction.

You will not let your puppy, or puppies move around, bark, and play with you if they feel they are not comfortable in your place and have uneasy feelings. Do not worry since it is normal. In time, they will get used to it. The best thing that you can do is to move them around the house so they can be familiar with the smell, color, and everything in it.

Short Time Sessions

As they are animals and do not posses human-like brains, so do not expect your puppy to learn things that you wanted. Just like any human being, they do not learn to walk and talk in an instant where it takes time and effort to do it. The same process goes with them. 10 Minutes time will do by doing some basic training, which more of a warm up until they get used to it.

Stimulation Exercises

Do not allow your dogs and puppies to be confined in your house and in their doghouse. They need to be exposed in their surroundings. Let them see the world so they will not be afraid of the things that they might see outside your home. They also need fresh air. In fact, it is best to train them outside with new other tricks, which can be developed easier and faster.

Prizes and Consequences

In all trainings, they should learn that if they have done wrong, they would get punishment and if they have done better, rewards await them. Simply letting them know that they will not be able to eat what they want if they bark too much, would give a signal to them that they have to behave.

Feeding Time

This is the hardest part for all animal lovers. However, among all pets that you can keep and take care of, dogs are the smartest because they know how to follow instructions, which takes time.

Let them know the best time that they have to eat without causing too much noise like barking and moaning. Of course, make sure that you are in a good mood when you start feeding them so you’ll have enough patience to control your emotions too if they did not get it.
