Chicken Tikka Masala, the famous sub-continental curry dish, has recently won the USA Food Festival. According to reports, almost every one present there at USA Food Festival liked the dish and ranked it at first place.
Chicken Tikka Masala is a curry dish in which roasted chicken chunks known as ‘Tikka’ are served in a rich orange, creamy, lightly spiced tomato based sauce along with ‘Nans’.
It tastes extremely delicious and food lovers all around the globe love to eat it. According to a recent survey report, Chicken Tikka Masala is being served in leading British restaurants as ‘Britain’s true national dish’.
There is no certain information available about the origin of this dish. Some people say that it’s a Mughlai dish that was created by a sub-continental chef for the very first time in history during the Mughal’s reign, whereas other completely opposes it and believes that the epic center of this yummy dish is Glasgow, Scotland.
So, if anyone claims that there is no standard recipe to cook this lightly-spiced curry dish I’ll defiantly agree with him, as at present Chicken Tikka Masala is being cooked in six continents of the world with 48 dissimilar recipes with only one common ingredient i.e. chicken.
Although the dispute of Chicken Tikka Masala’s origin has not been solved so far, however one thing I can bet for is that, no food lover will ever waste a single moment prior eating the dish in bothering for where it came from and by whom it was created!
