Los Angeles, California (05news) – Edward Furlong, the not-so-celebrated American actor who reportedly had a great time with Seth Rogen at the premiere of his big comeback film a couple of nights ago, is currently cooling his heels in a jail here in Los Angeles.
Edward Furlong, the 33-year-old actor whose best known movie roles include John Conner in Terminator 2: The Judgment Day and most recently Tupper in The Green Hornet, was escorted in the L.A. court room by LAPD officials earlier yesterday on Tuesday 11th January, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. for a progress testimony concerning his probation violation from last year.
According to the details, in November, 2010 Edward Furlong left some intimidating voice messages for his then soon-to-be ex-wife. The said act of aggression was utterly against the restraining order, making the voice messages a direct breach of the law. At that time no legal action was taken against him.
However, Edward Furlong did not stop at it and once again breached the restraining order in December, 2010 by crossing the 50-yards limit (he was not allowed to come within 50-yards of his ex-wife).
During the latest court hearing, which was reportedly set up to deal with these violations, the judge ordered to put Edward Furlong behind the bars. He is currently being held on $75,000 bail.
The next probation violation hearing for Edward Furlong, who last dated Paris Hilton, has now been set up, incongruously, for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
