Eid-ul-Fitr symbolizes the end of the month of Ramadan, the month of fasting. The meanings of the word is “to break”, which symbolizes the breaking of the fasting phase and of all evil habits.
All the departments and the Federal ministries will examine Eid Ul Fitr holiday from Saturday, 29th Ramadan of the Hijri year 1430, consequent to 19th of September 2009, to the 3rd of Shawwal 1430, it was announced today. And Work will start again on 4th of Shawwal.
The education Minister and other Chairman of several departments extended best wishes for good health and warm congratulations on the wonderful occasion.
This is a special day for all the Muslims and on this day all Muslims put on new clothes, shoes. Women apply mehndi on hands. The women also wear lots of accessories, including heavy ornaments and jewelries. All the peoples who are Muslims also decorated their houses and places in a special way to create a feel of Eid Festival among all the family members.
On Eid-ul-Fitr markets also remain open and decorated till then late nights and the entire Muslims do and enjoy the shopping. Children also like this festival by wearing new clothes and playing games and enjoy a lot.
