The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards took place at Nokia Centre in Los Angles and the event was telecasted live coast to coast for the first time in the history of the Emmy.
The Pacific, HBO series was at the top with total 24 nominations and Glee placed at second with 19 nominations, Mad Man was placed at third with 17 nominations.
Breaking Bed earned the third consecutive Emmy award as Bryan Cranston won the best lead actor award for the third time.
Aaron Paul also secured the best supporting role in drama for Breaking Bed and added an Emmy to his birthday celebration. Aaron Paul won his first Emmy of the career.
Eric Stonestreet also won his first Emmy award of best supporting role in a comedy series for his role in “Modern Family”.
The Big Bang Story was also prominent on the show a Jim Parsons won the best actor award in a comic role leaving Tony Shalhoub and Alec Baldwin behind.
Edie Falco surprised everyone by winning an award for the comedy role as well. She won fourth award of her career for her role in “Nurse Jackie”.
Mad Man earned the Emmy award for best drama of the year for the fourth time and in the biggest upset Modern Family won the awards defeating Glee.
