Many of you have heard about this myth that if you wish a wish after seeing a falling star it will come true, well at least thats what my mother use to tell me about the falling stars and if you believe in it tonight is the night for you to wish a wish, according to NASA you will be able to see falling stars on average somewhere between 60 to 80 per hour, but for that you have to find a place away from city lights with clear skys lay down on the ground facing the sky then you might have a chance to see some stars.
NASA advised the viewers to avoid looking at the moon during the stargazing because this years Meteor Shower is occurring during the moon’s waning gibbous phase, which is not good because it will decrease your night vision ability and will make it complicated to spot the small streaks of light they said that only bright meteors could be seen with naked ayes this year. But this is not the only problem viewers will be facing this year according to NWS national Weather Service viewers have to fight with cloudy skies, but any of the viewers still got lucky they will be able to see over 80 Meteors per hour.
Astrologist said that Preseid Meteor Showers come about every August, when Earth passes through the tail of Swift-Tuttle Comet.
