The most renounced Cola Drink Pepsi has recently selected Chenni born Indra Nooyi as CEO, who was born on October 28, 1955. Her sharp tactical mind, marvelous market insight and sympathetic contributions all combine to make her an exceptional executive among the global commercial giants. She has been listed as the third most dominant woman in the world; earlier to becoming CEO Indra Nooyi was President, Chief Financial Officer and an associate of the Board of Directors for Pepsi Corporation.
Indra Nooyi spent her early days in Chennai; she is the daughter of a Banker and granddaughter of a district judge. She did her BSc. in Chemistry from Madras Christian College and afterward earned a Master’s Degree in Finance and Marketing from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. Indra Nooyi also did Master’s Degree from the Yale School of Management (YSM) in Public and Private Management.
Prior to joining Pepsi Co. Inc. in 1994, Indra Nooyi was Vice President and Director of commercial policy and development at Motorola and before that she was Senior Vice President of policy and tactical Marketing for Asea Brown Boveri, she has also worked for Mettur Beardsell and Johnson & Johnson. At Pepsi Co. Inc. Indra Nooyi have a key position in the Tricon follow-up, to acquire the Tropicana, the public contribution of Pepsi Cola bottling group and the union with Quaker Foods.
