Described as ‘the most famous player in the history of softball by Time magazine, Jennie Finch was born on 3rd September, 1980 in La Mirada, California. According to Finch, Jennie Finch Jennie Finch started playing softball at the age of five and since then has been playing with the same amount of passion for the game that she felt on the very first day insight herself.

At her hometown, Jennie Finch lettered twice each in both volleyball and basketball and four times in softball and because she was a senior player among the rest in the team, Jennie Finch was opted as the captain of all three sports by the management.

Having played softball for the University of Arizona, where she became a three-time All-American pitcher, Jennie Finch is the very first-baseman and “Honda Award” winner for the Player of the Year in the entire history of the University.

As per a little introduction about her personal life, Jennie Finch has been married to Casey Daigle, the famous MLB pitcher, since 15th January, 2005. According to Finch, Daigle proposed her on the softball field at the University of Arizona.

She said “Daigle blindfolded me, took me to the mound, proposed me and I accepted him as my husband spontaneously”. The couple has a son named Ace.

Jennie Finch, a USA Softball Olympian, was the darling of the All-Star Legends & Celebrity Game played a couple of days back on Sunday 11th July, 2010 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA.

Finch came out strong by ‘smokin’ a couple of her illustrious fast pitches that past to Tim Salmon and Ricky Henderson leaving both hilarity and ovation in the crowed. California native, Jennie Finch also helped the National league by hitting a home-run dead center during 2010 legends & Celebrities Softball Game.
