The 35-year-old ‘Gone Baby Gone’ famed Hollywood actress, Jill Quigg, has been arrested by the Quincy Police Department for reportedly breaking into a Boston home and stealing a TV.
According to the available details, the not-so-pretty actress Jill Quigg, who rose to fame with a south Boston based movie ‘Gone Baby Gone’ – the first one from Ben Affleck, was taken into custody last week on Friday 15th October, 2010 on theft charges after she allegedly broke into a residence in Quincy along with her friend.
The Associated Press reported that both the accused persons, Jill Quigg and her 28-yesr-old friend named Georgios Keskinidis, told the police officials “they were not us, but another black man who break into the residence and then steal a 32-inch flat screen TV along with a computer monitor”.
Jill Quigg added in her statement that she was the one who chased the suspect to his vehicle, parked at the gateway, but were unfortunately unable to catch him red-handed. Lieutenant Jack Sullivan told the Associated Press “that’s when the suspects said they all of a sudden became crime fighters and chased the thief”.
While, on the other hand, some eyewitnesses told the police that the self-proclaimed crime fighters, Jill Quigg and her friend, were the actual thieves.
However, Jill Quigg and her companion have now been set free on personal recognizance after they pleaded not guilty to ‘breaking in and entering during the day-time, larceny of more than $250 and wanton destruction of property worth more than $250’.
