Kate Snow- From Good Morning to Dateline comes in mind when you read that ABC News Reporter has moved to NBC News.
The shift was made public by NBC on this Friday. Kate Snow will take over as Dateline NBC correspondent from this spring. Kate Snow was working as News Reporter at ABC and she hosted Good Morning America weekend too.
Kate Snow has been serving in ABC as News Correspondent since 2003. She remained the host of weekend morning anchor since the launch of Good Morning America in 2004.
At ABC, Kate Snow not only covered the important news segments about Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign, she was at Haiti to cover the aftermaths of the massive quake that hit the poverty stricken nation recently.
Kate Snow was a strong contender for Newsreader job at Good Morning America but ABC found Juju Chang more charming for the job than Kate Snow. According to ABC, Juju Chang and Elizabeth Vergas will fill the absence of Kate Snow at the weekend.
Steve Capus, NBC News President, has declared the hiring of Kate Snow as a great day for NBC News. He further added that Kate Snow’s hiring shows that NBC is committed to grow its newsmagazine prime time and this addition also shows that NBC is dedicated to invest in the future.
The Executive Producer for Dateline has said that Kate Snow is a whole package for Dateline as she is able to cover breaking news, and interviews with same kind of expertise.
He further added that Kate Snow is also a good writer and he feels happy about that she will be doing all this at Dateline.
Kate Snow melted from CNN to ABC and then NBC, we have still a lot alphabets remain and so would be the promising career of Kate Snow.
