Lucy Vodden, 46, who presented the idea for the Beatles’ traditional song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” has passed away as she was suffering from lupus for a long time.

Lucy was under treatment for the constant ailment for the time period of 4 to 5 years in St. Thomas’ Hospital in London and she was stated deceased on Monday, and by her husband, Ross Vodden. Local News reports show that she passed away on last Tuesday but its not confirmed as the hospital officials have also said that they are unable to confirm the exact day of her death.

Her association to the Beatles dates back to her premature days, when she made associates with a school fellow Julian Lennon the son on John Lennon.

A milestone album released to global compliments in 196, at the moment when John Lennon was collecting stuff for his offerings to “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”.

The elder Lennon detained on the reflection and built it up into what is extensively considered as a psychedelic masterpiece, replete with haunting images of “newspaper taxis” and a “girl with kaleidoscope eyes.”

Rock music critics thought the song’s title was a veiled reference to LSD, but John Lennon always claimed the phrase came from his son, not from a desire to spell out the initials LSD in code.

Lucy was unable to meet Julian Lennon as he had to leave the school because of the separation of his parents, but they were came together in past few years as Julian aimed to help her out from the ailment.
