Luna Vachon, former WWE star died on Friday morning in Florida. She was aged 48. The cause of death is yet to be determined by the coroner’s office.
According to reports Gertrude Luna Vachon was found dead at her mother’s home where she was residing after burning up of her own home.
WWE in its statement has said that they have been informed of passing of Luna Vachon and WWE extends its deepest condolences to Vachon family.
Luna Vachon had been in contract with WWE at different times from 1993 to 2000. She had been performing under the name of Luna Vachon at WWE and her last performance at WWE platform was in 2000.
Luna Vachon belonged to a legendary Canadian pro wrestling family. Born in 1962, Luna Vachon has wrestling in her blood as her father Paul Butcher Vachon was a great wrestling professional of his times. Maurice Mad Dog Vachon was her uncle and Vivian Vachon, the pro wrestler was her aunt.
Luna Vachon was nicknamed Daughter of Darkness and she started her career in 1986.
Luna Vachon was well known for her nerve-racking loods. She often shaved part of her head and wore face paint to give her more intimidating look. Luna Vachon has had a very intense wrestling style.
Luna Vachon retired from her professional wrestling career in 2007 and was working as a tow truck operator.
Luna Vachon had two sons and two granddaughters.
