Lynn Turner, the woman who first ended the life of her husband and later killed her boyfriend too by poisoning them with antifreeze, has been found dead today in Atlanta prison.
As per the report issued by the News of the Day, Lynn Turner, who had been serving a life-time sentence in prison since 2007 for killing her boyfriend and husband with antifreeze, was found dead in her prison cell earlier on Tuesday 31st August, 2010.
According to initial investigation reports, nothing has been cited so far as the actual cause of her death. However, the investigators are still in a process to figure out Lynn Turner’s cause of death.
The reports further stated that Lynn Turner, who was being kept in prison at Metro State Prison located in Georgia, was found cold in the bed of her prison cell earlier today and was pronounced dead 40 minutes later.
Sharmelle Brooks, a spokesperson to the Georgia Department of Correction says “the 42-year-old Lynn Turner was found unresponsive in her cell Monday morning and couldn’t be revived”.
In year 1995 Lynn Turner, who was a former 911 operator, killed her husband in Georgia and later on in year 2001, Lynn Turner also killed her boyfriend. Connected with the deaths of her husband and boyfriend, Lynn Turner collected approximately $189,000 in death benefits.
Nita Thompson, mother of Lynn Turner who didn’t seem much grieved on her death, expressed her feelings by saying “I don’t think it makes any difference to us whether she’s gone. I had to sit down. My legs got kind of weak. It’s still strange”.
It is further being told that Lynn Turner’s case was under appeal.
