Malvin Vien -one out of the fifteen designers of Project Runway, is eliminated last night from reality show Project Runways race. Project Runway is an American reality television series hosted by model Heidi Klum weekly on life time television. This program is centered on fashion design to create the best clothes by focusing on material, theme and time and every week at least one designer is eliminated.
A famous American actress and model Rebecca Romijn was the guest judge last night. The challenge for the designers was to create an outfit for her as Rebecca is pregnant with twins. She was looking for something stylish for any event or meeting, in this condition.
All the guests and viewers were probing about designer Malvin Vien because he as a graduated from the University of Redlands creative solipsism but in this contest he has created a very odd dress not at all suitable for a pregnant celebrity.
Malvin was in the bottom two with Mitchell and according to the host of the show Heidi; Malvin’s outfit was eccentric and not gratifying though it was conceptual. She gave comments about the Mitchell’s outfit as sloppy presentation that was unacceptable for the competition. In the first two episodes of the show, his designs were good but in this segment, judges said him a failure.
Louise, Mitchell, Althea, Malvin, Shirin, Ra’mon and other designers were sent back to the holding room because they were safe. Shirins dresses were admired by judges.
