Reports say that a Binibining Pilipinas titlist and two other persons, who got badly injured in a vehicular accident in Bula town, Camarines Sur over last weekend on Sunday 15th August, 2010, have died now.
The Police have reported that Melody Gersbach was travelling along with her team and as per the identifications of the victims revealed by police; the deceased persons included Melody Gersbach, a Binibining Pilipinas title holder, her make-up artist named Alden Orense and her driver called Santos Ramos Jr.
According to police, Melody Gersbach’s red Toyota Innova was cruising along a highway in Sitio Banasi, Barangay Pawili when it was rammed by a Guevarra bus at around 11 am.
The initial investigation reports also showed that the bus ran over Melody Gersbach’s, the beauty titlist, car ripping off its top, before smashing into a tree along the highway.
One of Melody Gersbach’s companions named Ronald Lita, who survived the accident and four bus passengers were also hurt. The driver of the bus, identified as Wilson Pontillas by the police officials, has is now under police custody in nearby Pili town.
Reports states, although he surrendered himself, yet several counts of irresponsible gullibility resulting in multiple homicide and multiple physical injuries have been imposed against the driver.
The dead body of Melody Gersbach was brought at the local funeral parlor where Gersbach’s father, Wolfgang and her boyfriend, Toti Rocha, were already present.
Family members said “we plan to bring Melody Gersbach’s body to our home in Legazpi City”.
