The hardcore glam metal bassist Nikki Sixx is all set to ride the fame wave once again as reports say “Nikki Sixx will make an appearance in the premiere episode of the new season of ‘L.A. Ink’, a to-rated television show that features his 28-year-old on-again girlfriend, Kat Von D”.
During last night’s episode, Nikki Sixx, along with his radio co-host Kerri Kasem, made the acquaintance of Kat to the Los Angeles radio studio for an interview on “Sixx Sense”.
According to various sources, the upcoming episode of season four of the top-rated television show will feature Nikki Sixx at Kat’s High Voltage Tattoo in Hollywood, as the renowned bassist gets a cool new tattoo of his ‘Sixx Sense’ radio logo by Kat Von D.
The fourth season of ‘L.A. Ink’ kicked off last night on 11th August at 10/9c on TLC.
Prior this, Nikki Sixx and his girl Kat Von D celebrated the launch of his nationwide syndicated radio program called ‘The Side Show with Nikki Sixx’ last month on 22nd July on Los Angeles’ most-talked-about radio station, 98.7 fm. In his program, in addition to the featuring chart-topping music each week, Nikki Sixx will also highlight new and talented music artists.
Born on 11th December, 1958 in San Jones, California, Nikki Sixx is an American author, bassist, photographer, the main songwriter for his band Mötley Crüe and fashion designer.
He has also played bass for famous some glam metal bands like the experimental band 58, the hard rock band Brides of Destruction, London and more recently, Sixx:A.M.
Currently, Nikki Sixx is working on a new book and accompanying SIXX: A.M. album to be released in late 2010 or early 2011.
