Almost 48 Hours into Patrick Cudahy fire and no control over the fire yet, not only city’s water supply is almost out but the fire also tested the endurance and strength of hundreds of firemen and residents. Locals are forced to abandon their homes as the threat of hazardous smoke increase. Winds are blowing quite fast and taking the dangerous smoke in to residential area, Patrick Cudahy fire started almost 48 hours ago on 05th July Sunday and is still not under control; authorities say it might take more than 36 hours before firefighter would be able to take control of the situation. The blazing inferno has exhausted hundreds of firefighters that have spread over an extensive 1.3 million square foot compound.

The reason is still unknown to authorities that how fire started in this 121 year old building but officials say that fire started in a unoccupied area of the Patrick Cudahy inc. meatpacking plant which is used to put plastic packing material and cardboards that helped the blazing inferno to spread widely and extensively.

More than 100 firefighters from 25 area departments are fighting the blazing inferno to take control of the situation, situated in south of Milwaukee Patrick Cudahy Inc. is a meatpacking plant in which dozens of workers work in a single shift; workers smelled the smoke around 9:35 P.M on the evening of Sunday and called 911 for help. At the time of incident over a dozen workers were present and were performing their duties, all workers in the plant escaped in time and are unharmed.

Craig Langowaski a Lieutenant with local fire department said that he has never seen such blazing inferno in his 20 years of service.
