Practical Magic- What Else Can It Be in the presence of two gorgeous women, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. However, Practical Magic is an American family film of 1998 that was directed by Griffin Dunne. The movie is based on the novel of the same name written by Alice Hoffman. Alan Silvestri composed the music for the movie.

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman have portrayed witches who are born with a family legacy of witchcraft and tragedy that follow the course of Owens women. The Craft has passed to these women through generations and story of the movie concerns these women including Frances (Stockard Channing), Jet (Dianne Wiest) along with their orphaned nieces Sally (Sandra Bullock) and Gillian (Nicole Kidman).

The curse is unique in its kind that falls upon Owens women, and if an Owens woman would find a true love, he would die a tragic death as was the father of Sally and Gillian and their mother who died of a Broken Heart.

The moving of Sally and Gillian to their Aunts Frances and Jet is not approved by the town people as they consider them witches. Sally has had protected herself with a spell for falling in love with a man but fate has more for Sally than she has had expected and hoped for. The movie says ‘there is no devil in the craft’.

The movie was nominated for the American Comedy Award for Funniest Supporting Actress. It was also nominated for the Blockbuster Entertainment Award.
