The widely-known and much famed Canadian-born-American singer/songwriter, Rufus Wainwright, appeared on ‘Chelsea Lately’ Tuesday night around 11 pm ET and while he was on the show, Rufus Wainwright discussed focal point of his latest concert but, then again, made it clear that why during the London Palladium USA Concert performance, he demanded utter silence from the annoying audience!

During the show when Chelsea asked him “Why do you to ask the audience to be silent is ok?” Rufus Wainwright answered “Because I can”.

Though, what Rufus Wainwright did during his concert seemed quite correct in order to draw attention, but, for just one moment, close your eyes immediately and imagine a music concert without noise and talking people!

Even on the show when audience applauded him, Rufus Wainwright asked them not to applaud in a jokingly manner.

So, last time when he did so, it was rather justifiable to some extent however, this time it seemed fairly awkward as everyone has his own choice and if someone doesn’t like that then he should try to impose his will upon others.

In the start of his career Rufus Wainwright, who gained fame in a short span of time and people like his music, use to perform at Cafe Sarajevo. But, the goddess of luck knocked at his door when, Rufus Wainwright’s father listened to him and sent his tapes to DreamWorks executive Lenny Waronker, who signed him to his label. For his first album he received best albums of the year and Best New Artist title by Rolling Stone.
