Slither: Did you feel your spine chilling while pronouncing the very word Slither. With me is the case as whenever I see the title of James Gunn 2006 movie I make a shudder with the thought of slimy and slug creatures borrowing into the body of the people in Wheelsy South Carolina.

Slither reminds me of 50s sci-fi/ horror flicks and if you have some critter fear issue then you may not opt for viewing this movie because it may prove an unsettling experience for you, but after all horror movies are meant for that and Slither is no exception.

The 2006 comedy horror was produced by Gold Circle Films, Strike Entertainment and it was released by Universal. Nathan Fillion, Michael Rooker and Elzabeth Banks are among the cast of the Slither.

When the rural tycoon Grant Grant is infected with a malevolent extraterrestrial creature the peaceful town of Wheelsy comes under the grip of such a horror that hints every extraordinary happening to Grant. A very small number of survivors that escaped Slither and their transformation into zombies join hand to wage a war against the spread of these heinous creatures and finally they have to kill Grant as only Grant’s death can save them from this horror.

Slither was declared 85% fresh by Rotten Tomatoes and it was featured as number one movie in the Entertainment Weekly on its April 2006 issue. Rue Morgue named the movie Slither being Best Feature Film on the Year.

If you have the courage and nerve to watch zombies and sluggish creatures entering into the bodies of people then you must go for that otherwise you may have some better choices.
