The community of Orange Park, prepares for the funeral of Somer Thompson, the child under 7 years old, who disappeared from his own neighborhood, last week.

Somer Thompson’s wake was held today at the First Baptist Church of this community and acts funeral will take place on Tuesday. The mother of the deceased was presented by the twin brother of the small but the acts were done with the closed box.

Clay County authorities have not revealed the results of the autopsy, nor did they allow the body’s exposure. Diane Thompson, only got a piece of hair from his murdered daughter.

So far, not been named suspects in the case continued to unnerve parents Clay County. The reward is up to 33 thousand dollars to anyone who may have information leading to an arrest.

Investigators seeking the murderer of a seven year old girl who was found dead on wasteland in Florida are following up more than 1,000 tips from across the United States, authorities said earlier.

Thompson’s mother, Diena, acknowledged the work of the detectives who went to the house from which Somer was last seen until the dump where he appeared, but so far nobody has given information about the time when the child was kidnapped or attacked outside his home.

Thompson spoke to dozens of people who mourned the death of the girl and supporters held a vigil outside his home on Saturday night. The people gathered around a makeshift altar with great Hannah Montana balloons, stuffed animals and candles were lit so long they began to melt into the grass.

“I want to know who really love you”, Thompson said. “I can not believe the support they have given me.”

Authorities have ruled out the 161 former sex offenders living within eight kilometers (5 miles) radius of Somer’s house. An autopsy was conducted and researchers know how the baby died, but still will not reveal their findings.

It is planning a public funeral for Monday and Tuesday. Burial will be private.
