Steve Novak, the assistant and associate director of development has moved a step ahead as assistant athletics development director at Boston College. Steve Novak got promoted and the announcement was mafe by the athletics director Gene DeFilippo.
The athlete director announced the promotion of Steve Novak on Wednesday. Steve Novak has replaced Jim Paquette, who moved to Loyola University in Maryland as athletes’ director on 17th February 2010.
Steve Novak entered the Boston College athletics department almost 10 year back in 2001. Steve Novak joined the athletics department of Boston College as internee.
He got promoted as development assistant and on his experience and performance bases he was promoted to the designation of assistant and associate director of development.
The management was looking for candidate to fill up the seat that was vacant by the departure of Paquette and Steve Novak was the only choice for the management who was meeting the competency criteria of the vacant seat.
The athletic director DeFilippo said that Steve Novak is energetic young man with impressive and professional personality and he served the athletic development office with all his skills and talent.
The management is pleased and feeling lucky to have the right person for the right position, who has been working as an asset of the institute.
Steve Novak stated that he is very grateful to the management of Boston College for providing him such a great opportunity to serve the athletic development department.
