Born as a daughter of a mob figure named Davie Berman of Las Vegas, Susan Berman (1945–2000) was a reporter and author, who prior to becoming conscious of that her father was a criminal, always maintained that her father died oddly on an operating table in Las Vegas by an unknown person, as Susan Berman, who was just 12-year-old at the time of death of his father, believed her father to be a noble guy.
She also believed that her mother Gladys’ overdose suicide, that occurred only a year later after his father’s death, was under mysterious circumstances.
However, once she figured out the facts about the mysterious deaths of her parents, Susan Berman comprehensively wrote about her late-in-life realization of her father’s place in a criminal empire.
In 1981 Susan Berman, who was known affectionately as the ‘Jewish Mafia Princess’, published a chronicle titled ‘Easy-Street life as the daughter of a bandit’. Prior writing the record, Susan Berman was presented in the 1970 William Morris Agency,
who spoke with several Hollywood producers interested in making a film from the script of Berman’s book. The film rights were purchased from Susan Berman, but the film project was never kicked off.
As per briefed by the police officials of that time, the sources said that Susan Berman was murdered with a nine-millimeter hand gun on Christmas Eve in year 2000 in Benedict Canyon, California. She was reportedly working, at the time of her death, on a project called ‘Sin City’ for Showtime with legal representative Kevin Norte.
